“I found out, just today, about the loss of one of the sweetest girls to grace the halls of West Jefferson high school.. She was the “belle of the ball,” but was always grounded well enough to be loved by all she encountered. I was stunned to hear that she was ill, but we did lose contact with each other as we went our separate ways after graduation in 1984. To her family, I express my most sincere condolences. May the memory of the beauty she added to the world comfort you as you mourn.”
