She was predeceased by: her parents, June Shirley Thompson Jones and Roy Jackson Jones; and her husbands, Richard H. Edwards and Elmer C. Breland. She is survived by: her daughter Vanessa Edwards Wasson (Kirk); her niece Angel King; her sisters, Stephanie Hammontree (Richard) and Roylynn Jones; and her cousins, Susan Youngblood and Cynthia Teekel.
Visitation was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Sea Episcopal Church (1909 15th St, Gulfport, MS 39501). A Mass was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, March 8th 2025 at the Greenlawn Cemetery (1005 Western Ave, Hammond, LA 70401).
