He was predeceased by: his parents, Johnnie Everett Taylor Sr. and Mona Dale Ladner Taylor; and his sister Ramona Lynn Taylor Urbahns. He is survived by: his wife Loretta Taylor of Wiggins; his children, Brian Hunter Taylor (Samana) of Kiln, Angela Rena Taylor of Hattiesburg, Dustin Gibson (Chelsea) of McLaurin, Kristi Parker (Tim) of McHenry and Shanna Shaw (Luke) of Perkinston; and his grandchildren, Alanna Wallace, Kayley Wallace, Emalynn Gibson, Brooklyn Taylor, Hayden Taylor, Brayden Taylor, Lylah Shaw, William Parker, Maisie Gibson, Grayson Hayes, Nickolas Shaw, Weston Parker, Beau Gibson, Rhyder Fulford, Lauryn Gibson, Journi Fulford and Jaxon Gibson.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Landmark Baptist Church (515 Iowa St, Wiggins, MS 39577). A funeral service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the Landmark Memorial Missionary Baptist Church (515 Iowa St, Wiggins, MS 39577). A burial was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 at the Landmark Cemetery.
