John Raymond Goekler Obituary
We are sad to announce that on March 2, 2025, at the age of 86, John Raymond Goekler in Wiggins, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Hazel Woods Goekler and Raymond Leroy Goekler; his former wife Jenny Wheat Goekler; his daughters, Marilyn Goekler Brousseau and Karen Goekler Tipton; his daughter-in-law Lori Holliman Goekler; his grandson Patrick Lee; and his brother-in-law Ed Silva.
He is survived by: his wife Dynona Alexander Goekler; his children, Johnny Goekler, Billy Goekler, Lari Goekler Lee (Tony), Kelly Goekler Dukes (Jason), Stacey Alexander Creel (Michael) and Toni Alexander Cibene (Mike); and his siblings, Bob Goekler (Billie) and Kaye Silva. He is also survived by ses 19 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, along with numerous nieces, nephews and extended relatives.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Trinity Funeral Services (319 US 49, McHenry, MS 39561). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 6th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location. A procession was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Biloxi National Cemetery (400 Veterans Ave, Biloxi, MS 39531).
