He was predeceased by: his parents, John McLendon and Betty Mae McLendon Morley; and his sister Diane Rayborn Barfield. He is survived by: his wife Geralda McLendon; his children, Venessa Mayer, Brandy Humphries (Johnathan), John "Bo" McLendon and Brice Bardwell (Megan); his brother Gary L. McLendon; his stepbrother Mitchel Bond; his aunts, Mary Ann Spellman and Joyce Dubose; and his friend David Griffin. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews and cousins.
