She was predeceased by: her husband Claude Smith; and her parents, John French and Eva French (Morrow). She is survived by: her children, Beverly Snyder (Brian) and Buddy Smith (Tracy); her grandchildren, Steven Snyder (Dayla), Jonathan Snyder (Destiny), Jaden Snyder, Corey Anderson, Austin Smith, Adrienne Smith, Brooke McKissack, Haley McKissack, Archer Smith and John Allen Smith; and her siblings, John Robert French and Marsha Cain. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
