He was predeceased by: his son Phillip Malone Turan; his parents, Melton Turan and Flora Turan; his children-in-law, Darren Usey and Melissa Mary Turan; and his brothers, Archie Turan and Leonard Turan.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Renot Turan of Wiggins; and his children, Lowell Turan of Wiggins, Krysta Markham of Marbury, Ala, Angela Patton of Saucier and Anita Paluch. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces.
