He was predeceased by: his parents, William G. Alexander and Ina Hunt Alexander; his daughter June Daughdrill; his children-in-law, Eugene Daughdrill and Gloria Alexander; and his grandson-in-law L. C. Swaggerty.
He is survived by: his wife Nellie Alexander of Wiggins; his children, Joe Alexander (Susan) of Wiggins and Dawn Richardson of Wiggins; and his granddaughters, Mary Ina Potter, Dan'Je Daughdrill, Melinda Swaggerty, Katherine Richardson, Kristine Stringer and Kassidy Richardson. He is also survived by seven great grandchildren and three great-great grandchildren.
