She was predeceased by: her parent Derwood; her son Kim Chappell; and her brother Edwin Chappell. She is survived by: her sisters, Rose Mary Buehler (Paul) and Ann Clifton (Ricky); her nephew Andrew; and her nieces, Maggie Clifton, Sasha Barker and Rachel Lacey (Joshua). She is also survived by family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Calvary Baptist Church, 1300 West Capitol St, Jackson, MS 39203.
