He was predeceased by: his parents, Fannie Welch and Elon Welch; his son Timothy Woodrow Gant (Bubba); his great grandchild Alyssa Parker; and his brother Janes Edward Gant (Bud).
He is survived by: his wife Beverly Gant; his children, Sherry Phillips (Ronnie) of Kenefic, OK, Vickie Wilson (Wesley) of Sadler, TX, Pamela Crowson (Eric) of Kosciucko, MS and Joel Gant (Pamela) of West; and his sister Janie McMillan (Virginia) of Rural Retreat. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 17 great -grandchildren and 1Great-great grandson.
