It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn S. Tate (West, Mississippi), who passed away on December 6, 2024, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the soft embrace of remembrance, we recall the profound impact Carolyn had on those she encountered along her journey. Though Carolyn may have slipped beyond the veil of mortality, her essence lingers like a faint fragrance in the air, a lingering reminder of the beauty and complexity of the human experience.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ned Peters and Allene Hamm Peters (Billy Tate); and her brother Robert Stovall. She is survived by: her son Kenn Tate (Kim); her grandchildren, Kasey Tate Davis (Gerald), Abby Tate and Michael Tate (Amber); and her great grandchild Lauren Rae Davis.
Visitation was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the West Baptist Church (17896 Emory Rd, West, MS 39192). A funeral service was held on Friday, December 13th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
