He is survived by: his sister Cheryl Gibson (Ray); his nephew Dr. Gregory Gibson (Shannon); his great-nieces, Abigail, Amelia Gibson and Dothan; his niece Dr. Amanda Gibson Deasy (Ryan); and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Maya, Eva, Rosie, Patrick, Caiden Deasy and Virginia.
