He was predeceased by: his parents, Howard Maclean and Edna Kemp Maclean. He is survived by: his children, Joseph Maclean, Samantha Maclean, Bess Hall (Ridge) and Braxton Maclean; his granddaughter Luella Hall; and his siblings, Jim, Jack Maclean and Jane Thomas.
