He was predeceased by: his father J. B. Pennington; his wife Helen; and his daughter Patricia Ann Pennington. He is survived by: his siblings, Bobby Joe Pennington (Deborah) and Nina Lou Pennington; and his nieces and nephews, Annette Davis (Walter), Kelly Pennington, Kristi Bright, Kirk Pennington, Anthony Davis and Bo Wood.
