He was predeceased by: his parents, Hulon Collier and Lillian Marshall Collier. He is survived by: his wife Vicki Collier of Brandon; his son Chris Collier of Jacksonville; his stepsons, Mitch Whitehead (Cameron) of Nanih Waiya and Kirt Stanley of Moosic; his grandchildren, Will of Nanih Waiya and Taylor Whitehead of Nanih Waiya; and his siblings, Vicki Langley (Mike) of Columbus, Tony Collier (Schatzi) of Columbus, Richard Collier (Shelly) of Caledonia and Kenneth "Kenny" Collier of Steens. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and other extended family.
