He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Staten; his children, Matthew Wells (Jennifer) of Lexington, Jonathan Staten (Kris) of Gallatin, David Staten (Christi) of Conroe, Paul Staten (Joni) of Camby, Indiana and Rachel Akujobi (Charles) of Columbus, MS; his brother Gary Staten (Carla) of Houston, MS; his niece Jennifer Staten; and his great-nieces, Amber and Lily. He is also survived by 15 grandchildren.
