He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Debbie A. Irby; his parents, Robert H. Irby and Frances Watford Irby; his sons, Robert E. Irby, Jr. (Bobby), James Barry Irby and William T. Vanlandingham; his siblings, Betty Amason (Lavelle), Mary Elise Greenlee, Margie Carter, Geraldine Thompson (Mike), Carol Hyer, Herman Irby (Doris) and Doris Shirley Oswalt; and his grandchildren, Chris Elam, Kyle Elam, Nina Wallis, Coty Irby and Grayson Vanlandingham.
