She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Bamer Coleman Dorsey and Daniel Dorsey; her brother Danny Carl Dorsey; her husband Jimmy Edwards of Cedar Bluff; her children, Athena Hewlett (Richard) of Starkville, Tina Edwards of Pheba, Bob Edwards (Lori) of West Point and John Edwards (Sabrina) of West Point; her grandchildren, Jackson Easton, Daniel McCaskill, Jr. (Jennifer), Wendi Dorsey (Dillon), Johnny Baucom, Jr. (Cally), Baylee Edwards (Lex), Lauren Coggins-Frazier (Chris), Holden Coggins (Tasha), Subrina Phipps (Thomas), Halie Edwards, James Edwards, Vetta Edwards Carpenter (Gavin), Preston Shotts (Celia), Dayton Shotts, Woods and Ann Kendall Hewlett; and also Bamer Dorsey of Cedar Bluff. She was also cherished by ten great-grandchildren.
