It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mitzi Thompson (West Point, Mississippi), who passed away on January 5, 2025, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Clifton Robertson, Jr. and Lynette Hardin Robertson Armstrong; her spouse Hunter Thompson; and her sister Cheryl Annette Robertson. She is survived by: her daughters, Blair Thompson (Billy) of West Point and Hunter Schumacher (Curt) of Columbus; her granddaughters, Sara Dudley Thompson of West Point and Andi Reese Schumacher of Columbus; and her sisters, Myra Duncan (Gary) of West Point and Celia Miller of Flora.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Thursday, January 9th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Calvert Funeral Home (27600 E Main St, West Point, MS 39773). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
