He is survived by: his mother Betty Files Ray of Tupelo; his wife Evelyn Ray of West Point; his children, Danielle Whitaker (Mike) of Amory and John Tubbs (Maggie) of Amory; and his siblings, Sandra White (Eddie) of Saltillo, Wayne Ray (Judy) of West Point and Tim Ray (Beth) of Cedar Bluff.
