Linda Ivey Rhea Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Linda Ivey Rhea (West Point, Mississippi), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 15, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, W. D., Sr. Ivey and Estelle Ivey; her spouse Bennon "Skinny" Rhea; and her son Jason Rhea. She is survived by: her children, Martha Ann "Marcie" Poss of West Point, William "Bill" Pointer (Michelle) of Caledonia and Jimmy Pointer (Sharon) of Pearl; her grandchildren, Magean Poss Chandler (Kennie) of Columbus, Toni White (Cody) of Columbus, Ty Stephens of Florence, Brittany Banal (Joseph) of Guntown, Summer Pointer (B. J.) of McHenry, Katelyn Keltner (Justin) of Millport, Matthew Belk of North Carolina, Brooke Watson of Starkville, Darron Pointer (Brooke) of Pearl, Jacob Pointer of Russellville, Estelle Pointer of Gulfport, Max Rhea of Brandon and Cain McLeod of Brandon; and her brother Danny Ivey (Georgene) of West Point. She is also survived by thirteen great- grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Calvert Funeral Home (27600 E Main St, West Point, MS 39773). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
