It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lee Roy Atkins Sr. of West Point, Mississippi, who passed away on October 23, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Lee Otis; his daughter Marsha Atkins Ray; and his siblings, Berniece O'neal, Elizabeth Carroll, Edley Atkins, Jerry Atkins and J. T. Atkins.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Atkins; his children, Donna Adamec and Chip Atkins (Kinta) of West Point; his grandchildren, Rachel Ray, Lee Ray (Lauren), Adam Ray (Brittaney), Kelsey Bercegeay (Clint) and Shay Atkins; his great grandchildren, Kimber Ray, Willow Ray, Cutter Bercegeay and Kolton Bercegeay; and his sister Mary Nell Willie. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
