She was predeceased by: her parents, Dorothy Sinclair Mitchell and James M "Jimmy" Hathorn, Sr.; her brother James M. (Jimbo Hathorn, Jr.); and her grandparents, Verna, Alex Sinclair, Dollie and J. Hoy Hathorn.
She is survived by: her husband Maurice Duncan; her daughter Kayla Sexton (Casey); her sister Susan Hathorn (Doug Crutchfield); her stepparents, Dee Hathorn and Jack Mitchell; and her stepsiblings, David Mitchell (Dee) and Jennifer Higgason (Alan). She is also survived by several aunts and uncles, nieces and nephews, and cousins.
Honorary pallbearers will be Dawson Mitchell, Justin Cain, Will Higgason, Jake Higgason, Hunter Ming, Michael Ming, MHP Troop G.
