He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilson Eugene Lippincott and Freddie Mae Aycock Lippincott; and his sister Bettie Lippincott Halliday. He is survived by: his wife Bettye Sue Minga Lippincott; his children, James Duke Lippincott, Jr. (Karen) of Cabot and Susan Elizabeth Lippincott of West Point; his grandchildren, Jack McReynolds of Flowood, MS, Abbie Lippincott of Cabot and Meryl Grace McReynolds of Oxford, MS; and his brothers, Thomas Lippincott (Carey) of White Fish, Charles Lippincott of West Point, MS. and Wilson Eugene Lippincott, Jr. of West Point, MS..
