With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Howard Geer (West Point, Mississippi), who passed away on March 20, 2025 at the age of 70. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Murris Hinton and Annie Sue Lollar Geer; and his brother Mike Geer. He is survived by: his wife Terry Ballard Geer of Pickensville, Alabama; his sons, Kiley Moody (Kate) of Brandon, Chad Moody (Hope) of Columbus, Philip Geer of Rural Valley, Jeffery Moody (Roxanne) of Columbus and Jesse Geer (Paige) of Meridianville, Alabama; his grandchildren, Brayden Moody (Savannah) of Oxford, George Henry Moody of Brandon, Lucy Kate Moody of Brandon, Dalton Moody of Columbus, Conerly Moody of Columbus, Hayes Moody of Columbus, Dean Mahlon Geer of Rural Valley, Stinson Moody of Columbus, Joel Geer of Meridianville and Theo Geer of Meridianville; his great grandchild Drake Carr of Columbus; his sister Debbie Mangolas (Art) of Richmond; and his siblings-in-law, Karen Cockrell of Starkville, Yvonne Geer of Columbus and Richard Ballard (Beverly) of Louisville. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
