It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gwendolyn D. Brown of West Point, Mississippi, who passed away on February 11, 2025, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. As Gwendolyn departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Gwendolyn may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Gwendolyn leaves behind.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church (2628 E Tibbee Rd, West Point, MS 39773). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at 2:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 at the Tibbee Community Cemetery (141 Community Center Rd, West Point, MS 39773).
