With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Hunt of West Point, Mississippi, who passed away on March 12, 2025 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Eldon and Mary Busby Hunt; and his siblings, Genice Nowell, Dewayne, James William and Jerry Hunt.
He is survived by: his wife Marjorie Hunt of West Point; his sons, Donald "Donny" Hunt of Nashville, Ronald "Ronny" Hunt (Rhonda) of Leonardtown, Dale E. Hunt (Carrie) of Lake Village and John E. Hunt of West Point; his grandsons, Adam Hunt of Columbus, Bruce Hunt (Olivia) of Lake Village, David Hunt (Susie) of Japan, Matthew Hunt of King George and Stephen Hunt of King George; and his sisters-in-law, Betty Dobbs (Roy) of Ackerman, Norma Hughes (Billy Joe) of Murfreesboro and Audie Bell Hunt of Starkville. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
