It is with great sadness that we announce the death of George Evans Jones Jr. in West Point, Mississippi, born in Columbus, Mississippi, who passed away on July 31, 2020, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, George Evans Jones, Sr. and Willie White Jones. He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Bush (Zak) of Columbia, TN, Jefferey Allen Jones (Julie) of Cleveland, TN and Jason Michael Jones of Cleveland, TN; and his siblings, Cheryl Jones Edwards (Don) of Wichita, KS, Marvin Carey Jones (Vicky) of Clarksdale, MS and Randolph Wise Jones of West Point. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren.
