He was predeceased by: his father Joe Golson; and his brothers, Jay Golson and Ray Golson. He is survived by: his wife Lisa Golson of West Point; his children, Jessie Criddle of Columbus, Thomas Golson of West Point and Joseph Golson of West Point; his sister Kay White of West Point; his sister-in-law Pat Golson of Amory; and his grandchildren, Landon, Lily and Charlie.
