He is survived by: his son Franklin Hawkins (Elizabeth) of Columbus; his granddaughters, Emory and Ella Milican of West Point; his siblings, Amy Taggart (Stanley) of Columbus and Russell Hawkins of West Point; his sister-in-law Carey McCarter of West Point; and his nieces, Hayley Curtis (Jake) of Louisville and Sydney Wollen (Brandon) of West Point.
