We are sad to announce that on January 28, 2021, at the age of 81, Doug Wood (West Point, Mississippi), born in Greenville, Mississippi passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by : his parents, Buford Douglas Wood and Helen Howard Wood. He is survived by : his wife Sheila Stacks; his children, Helen Stacey, Buford Douglas Wood, III (Morgan Klug Wood) and Stacey Wood Monteleone (David); his granddaughters, Sofia and Bella; his brother Jimmy Wood; his sister-in-law Kathy Wood; his niece Kristen Wood Williams (Jason); his great-nephew Jay Wood; and his nieces and nephews, Tripp and Helen Avery.
Doug was a survivor of cancer and two mini-strokes, until Covid-19 took him from this world.
