He was predeceased by : his parents, Virginia Sorrels and Howard Clark Coleman, Sr.. He is survived by : his brothers, Lee S. Coleman (Peggy) of West Point, James Edwin Coleman (Jan) of Atlanta, GA and David Howard Coleman II (Laura) of Cedar Park, TX; and his nieces and nephews, Jack Howard Coleman, Bonner Clark Coleman, Virginia Coleman, Andrew Coleman, Lindsay Grace Coleman and Ryan Coleman.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to West Point/Clay County Animal Shelter 5122 Old Tibbee Rd. West Point, MS 39773.
