He was predeceased by: his father Charlie Weems (Willie Vee Weems); his spouse Willie Vee Nabors Weems; his mother Eloma Ruffins; his stepfather Joseph L. Ruffins; and his daughter Wilma Lee Brasher.
He is survived by: his children, Margaret Ann Blackwell (Mike) of Mathiston, Charles Weems (Cheryl) of West Point and Wallace Weems (Alisa) of West Point; and his grandchildren, Charles Allen Foster, Heather Dawn Herring, Joshua Lee Weems (Jessica), Brittnie Nicole Trehern (Derrick), Ben Z. Weems, Molly Weems, Ryan Blackwell, Billie Ann Brasher, Matthew Gaskin and Lindsey Henderson (Chad). He is also survived by nine great-grandchildren.
