He was predeceased by: his parents, Charlie Raymond and Mildred Conlee Magers; his former wives, Peggy Walters Anderson and Donna Jordan Magers; his stepdaughter Kimberly Haughton; his great grandchild Maxon Lane Magers; his brother Donny Magers; and his son-in-law Buddy Huffman.
He is survived by: his wife Hilda E. Magers of West Point; his children, Connie Magers (Randy) of Westerly, RI, Paige M. Huffman of West Point, Ricky Magers (Susie) of Wetumpka, AL, Steve Magers (Cassie) of Lebanon, MO and Bobby Magers of West Point; his stepson Robbie Kelsey (Dot) of West Point; his grandchildren, Brad Magers of Columbus, Jenny Flaherty (Justin) of Tupelo, Derek Whitford of Muskogee, OK, Jason Magers of Wetumpka, AL, Marc Magers (Ashley) of Tupelo, Eric Magers of Texas, Lindsay Hatoway (Jason) of Swansea, MA, Russ Magers of West Point, Curt Huffman (Ashley) of League City, TX, Dalton Magers of West Point, Manning Huffman of West Point, Rob Kelsey (Julia) of West Point, T. J, Haughton of West Point, Kyle Roeser (Becca) of Rochester, MN and Laurie Rotering (Kurt) of Overland Park, KS; his sisters, Pat Riggs of Tupelo and Debbie Elliott (Bobby) of Nettleton; and his siblings-in-law, Kay Shurden of Starkville, Susan Elliott of West Point and Charles Elliott (Angie) of West Point. He is also survived by 23 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church West Point.
