Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Buraleen Pearson (West Point, Mississippi), who passed away at the age of 87, on January 22, 2025. In the sacred silence of farewell, Buraleen is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Buraleen's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Burris Hester and Flaudie Haines Hester; her husband George Pearson; her son Herby Pearson; and her sister Eula Hester Nuesch.
She is survived by: her daughters, Denice Pearson Williams (Jimmy) of Ethelsville, AL and Debra Pearson Hurt of Columbus. She is also survived by 5 Grandchildren; 9 Great Grandchildren; several nieces & nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Robinson Funeral Home (869 E Broad St, West Point, MS 39773). A memorial service was held on Saturday, January 25th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
