He was predeceased by: his parents, James William and Edith Caradine Harmon; his daughter Tonia Renae Harmon; and his brother James Robert "Bobby" Harmon. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Smith Harmon of West Point; his sons, Todd Pitts (Julie Dalrymple) of West Point and Terry Pitts (Shelley) of West Point; and his grandchildren, Tyler and Skylar Pitts. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
