He is survived by: his wife Emily Black of Cedar Bluff; his children, Michelle Black Cheney (John) of Cedar Bluff and Robert Black (Amanda) of Pass Christian; his grandchildren, Caroline of Cedar Bluff, James Cheney of Cedar Bluff and Arianna Black of Pass Christian; his siblings, Linda Carley of Bovina and Gerald Black (Kim) of Ocean Springs; his brother-in-law James "Jimmy" Staten (Debra) of Pearl; his mother-in-law Frances Staten of Cedar Bluff; and his pets, Mickey, Yoshi and Gerbil. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
