She was predeceased by: her brother James Brantley. She is survived by: her husband Dr. John G. Shields, Jr. of West Point; her children, Isaac Seth Shields, J. B. Shields of Richland, Lewie K. Shields of West Point and Alice Faye Ann Shields of West Point; and her grandchildren, Joseph Shields, Brantley Shields, Andrew Shields, Savanna Shields, Connor Shields and John Austin Shields. She is also survived by many cousins and many nieces and nephews.
