She was predeceased by: her parents, Mary Louise Hoag and John Long; and her brothers, Greg and Dudley Long. She is survived by: her husband William "Bill" Thompson of West Point; her children, Bridget Thompson Magers of West Point, Amy Hamilton of Hazel Green, AL and John Thompson (Patience) of Hazel Green, AL; her grandchildren, Dalton Magers, Brett, Austin, Harley Thompson, Hayden and Harper Hamilton; and her sister Janice Caire.
