She was predeceased by: her mother Lorine Payne; her husband Clifford Lois Shumpert; and her siblings, Louise Monaghan and Cecil Payne. She is survived by: her children, Gloria Smith (Glenn) of Virginia Beach, Barry Shumpert (Pete) of Knoxville and Steve Shumpert (Susan) of Georgetown, Texas; her grandchildren, Andrea Dukes of Forest, Clay Meals of Fort Leavenworth, Stephanie Massey of Georgetown and Sean Shumpert of Houston, Texas.; her sister Jimmie Sheffield of Mantachie; and her nieces and nephews, Jan Stembridge, Linda Jones, Perry Sheffield, David Payne, Pete McKinney and Bud Coley.
