She was predeceased by: her parents, James Flenoy and Sarah Hardin Blue; her husband Roland Lyon; her grandson Joshua Lee Watkins; her brothers, William Lee Morris and J. W. Blue; her siblings-in-law, Mary Rose Lyon, George David Lyon, Sr. (Mona Manning) and Floyd Wheeler; her niece Demetria "Buffy" Meadows; and her nephew Dr. George David Lyon, Jr..
She is survived by: her daughter Janet Lyon Watkins (Cliff) of West Point; her grandson Jared Watkins of West Point; her sister Kay Wheeler of Mineral Wells; and her sister-in-law Lydia Blue of Greenbrier.
