He was predeceased by: his parents, R. D. Allen and Margaret Allen; and his siblings, Jewel Mickler, Merle Foreman, Marlene Woods, Louise Twigg, Elizabeth Morton, Robert Lee, R. D. Jr., Phillip and Frank Allen.
He is survived by: his wife Gracie Allen of West Point; his children, Wanda Miller (Fred) of Prairie and Scottie Horton (Lynn) of Brooklyn; and his siblings, Florene Coleman (William) of Sturgis, Martha Cook of West Point and Thomas Calvin Allen (Karen) of West Point. He is also survived by three grandchildren.
