He is survived by: his wife Mary Strobel of West Point; his sons, David Strobel (Cheryl), Robert 'Bobby Strobel (Lana) and John Strobel of Maryland; his sisters, Patti Strobel Swindol (Roger) of West Point and Janice Strobel Brasfield (Roger) of West Point; his stepbrother Michael Northington (Jan) of Birmingham, AL; and his half-siblings, Alice Kelly (Jim), Sally Snyder (Steve), Karen Martin (Don) and Nathan Goolsby (Karen) of Michigan. He is also survived by 5 grandchildren; 7 great grandchildren.
