He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin Jesse and Maxine Beasley Morris. He is survived by: his wife Deania Williams Morris; his sons, Greg Morris (Katie) and Seth Morris (Melissa); his siblings, Marvene Bross (Michael), Sharron Malpass (Mel) and Jerry Morris; and his stepgrandson Jasper Woodcock.
