She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer Ward and Mamye Ward (Shamburger); her husbands, Douglas Harris, Jr. and Yammon "Lefty" Sistrunk; and her sisters, Carolyn Warren (Alton), Marie Gaston (John) and Betty Jo Peters (Howard).
She is survived by: her daughter Debbie Barker (Clifford); her granddaughter Rachel Knight (Justin); and her great grandchild Duncan Knight. She is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Mission Hill Baptist Church (2409 Mission Hill Rd NE, Wesson, MS 39191). A graveside service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:15 PM at the Mission Hill Baptist Church Cemetery (2409 Mission Hill Rd NE, Wesson, MS 39191).
In lieu of flowers, it was Polly's desire that donations be directed to Mission Hill Baptist Church of Wesson, MS, or The Lions Club of Meridian, MS.
