He was predeceased by: his parents, James Luther Martin, Sr. and Edna Leggett Martin; his wife Lovie B Davis Martin; his daughters, Vivian Denise Martin and Pamela Diane Martin; and his siblings, Oliva M. Newman (James), Virginia Sebus (Fred), Imogene M. Case (Emmett), James L. Martin Jr., Dorothy Hennis (Harold), Mary Alice Martin and Milton Martin.
He is survived by: his siblings, Carol Waterman (Ed), Lucille Weis of Snohomish, WA and Charles Martin (Shirley) of Brookhaven, MS. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
