It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Ronnie Castilaw of Wesson, Mississippi, who passed away on August 1, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. As James Ronnie departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though James Ronnie may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy James Ronnie leaves behind.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Castilaw and Ernestine Castilaw; his wife Brenda Castilaw; and his sister Sheila Cothern. He is survived by: his brother Lonnie Castilaw (Peggy) of Wesson; his nieces, Tina Ruffin and Carthy McCaffery (Adam); and his nephew Lowell Castilaw (Hayley). He is also survived by three great-nieces and one great-nephew, along with extended family and friends.
