Doris Gandy Armstrong Obituary
We are sad to announce that on September 15, 2019, at the age of 94, Doris Gandy Armstrong (Wesson, Mississippi) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Abijah Clarence Gandy, Jr. and Estelle Florence Moore Gandy; her husband Byron Armstrong, Sr.; and her siblings, Wayne Gandy, Leman Gandy, Wilda Davis and Nancy Ashley.
She is survived by: her children, Byron Armstrong (Ann) of Vicksburg, MS and Nancy Dykes (Jerry) of Wesson, MS.; her grandchildren, Carole Bass (Justin) of Wesson, MS. and Jeff Armstrong (Katie) of Wynnewood, OK.; and her great grandchildren, Avery Bass and Zachary Doles.
In lieu of flower, the family requests that donations be made to Stronghope Baptist Church.
