It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn McCardle Tarbutton of Wesson, Mississippi, who passed away on December 2, 2023, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ira Virgil McCardle and Minnie Viola McCardle; and her siblings, Frances McCardle Kimble (Harold), J. W. McCardle (Dell), Melvin McCardle (Maxine) and Dewey McCardle.
She is survived by: her children, Dr. Lester Tarbutton (Diane), Phyllis Lajuan Tarbutton and Julia Tarbutton Bowlin (Paul); her grandchildren, Chris McMillan, Nick McMillan (Summer), Clay Bowlin (Chelsie) and Georgia Bowlin; her great grandchildren, Lucas, Lucy and Samuel; and her stepgreat-grandchildren, Ethan and Brooklyn. She is also survived by other loving family members and friends.
