He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Ann Rippy; his children, Bobby Dewayne Rippy (Cindy), John Daniel Rippy, Linda Darnael Durr (Timmy), Jennifer Ann Powell and Thomas; his siblings, Glenn Ray Rippy, Donnie Ray Rippy, Jackie Ray Rippy, Shirley Ray Rippy and Kathy Rippy; and his grandchildren, Jessica Lea (Billy), Kayla Stevens (Timothy), Timothy Durr (Jessi), Brent Rippy (Taylor), Brandon Rippy, Crystal (Jessie Brister), Jonathan (Bobbie Powell) and Thomas Powell Jr. (Brandy Powell). He is also survived by nineteen great-grandchildren and other extended family and close friends.
